Cinder: "It was just a lil *itch* ~~~ NOW it's ...

    Cinder here ...

What started out Wednesday nite as a "lil *itch*" got made into a Major Disaster
as soon as DOD (Dear ole Dad) got into it!

Smokey woke up furst ... "HEY ... WHAT are you DOIN!? QUIT wiffa *lickin*!"

Sorrie; gotz me a lil *itch* ... just *skratchin* it.

"Wiff your TONGUE?? ... *Skratch* wiif paw! (quietly), Please!"

    *LICK* ~ *lick* ~ *LICK*

HEY YOU! QUIT wiffa darn LICKIN! GO TO SLEEP!!
Nutz! ... now I gotta go pee.

"You best NOT be *lickin* when he stumbles back in here!"

    *lick* ~ *lick* ~ *lickity-lick* ...

OMG! LOOKIT What'cha did to your hip ---
You've ripped off 2" x 2" of fur down to the SKIN!

    WHAT's WRONG ??

Got a lil *itch*, Dad. --- I'z *fixin* it.
He din't wait abound to hear the answer ...
He wuz dialin Doc Mike's nummer at 5:30 AM ...

Awww, NUTS --- Doc's closed till next Monday ... Gotta call the Hi-Priced Vets.

    They dint answer till 7:45 AM ... I heard 10:30 mentioned ... and "We'll be there!" ...

    I shudda stayed home ...
Doc Tom wuzza nice guy - took wun look an sed "Hot Spot" ...
Dad telled him I'd had a couple before (down onna tummy) -
Steroid Shot & Anti-Biotiks had fixed me rite up ...

He agreed - but then wanted to see my tummy ...
    FOUR big hand-paws later I was uppie-side-down gettin a tummy check ...
All clear onna tummy ... could be:
    * An allergy - food or environmental
    * a Buggy Byte --- most any kinda critter

OK, but he wanted to "shave the area" ...
Off I went wiffa Cute Young Thing or two ...

Oh Cinder...Cinder....Cinder....Cinder. Kia and Little Chips can feel your pain. They don't know how to lick quietly either. And Andy hates being woken at 3 in the morning.

Hope the itchy goes away soon! And don't worry... it'll grow back.

yea, just read it slowly and in the context of a dog dictating it and it'll be clear. But the CLIFF NOTES version is
Woke up Thurs morning to Cinder licking a 2 x 2 inch bald spot on her hip - went to the E-vet and $$$$ later- they shaved it to a 4 x 4 inch spot to keep it dry. And now she's having a bad hair day!

    hope it feels better Cinder!
    and quit licking!
