We said goodbye to my little princess today. When the blood test came back, the chances of her recovering were slim. She was just so peaceful while going to the bridge. I know I never talk about her, but gosh she was so special. My little brat always knew how to steal our hearts.
We found her as a stray in 99. She was found on the side of the road in a box. Poor girl was so scared. Right away my mom, brother, and I fell in love with her, but it took some convincing for my dad. She was never the healthiest girl, but her spirit always shined through. She always found a way to get on our nerves. That was her way of making us laugh. She learned how to open cabinets and would always steal our hair ties and would pick them up and throw them in the toilet. She was so proud of herself. Her favorite time in the day was at 4:00 in the mourning and she would nudge us with her cold wet nose, oh how I will miss that nose of hers. But most of all in the past year she because such a loving girl. The first 6 years she would always want our attention but would bite us. And then this year she just was so sweet and loving, she would always want our attention.
This mourning she wasn’t holding her food we syringed her with, and ended up throwing up pinkish liquid. I want to thank each and everyone of you from the bottom of my heart for all your thoughts, help, and prayers.
