    I took some pics of my finches for halloween today. lol
    Sprout as a lion

    Oh my gosh those photo's are way adorable!

    I would so consider entering photo down # 3 or 4 in a halloween contest!

    If there are any around, I'd defenetly vote your your lil zebra finches!

    There so tame looking, where they all handfed?

    Thanks for the lovely comments! Yeah all three were handfed. Buzz I got a few weeks ago. I had handfed him for my grandmother but she didn't feel like she had the energy to care for him anymore and her dog was trying to eat him so I brought him back home. Sprout is Buzz's sister.

    omg i never knew you could have such tame finches?!?! Thats awesome, I bet it took alot of time to get them that used to humans. Did your grandma breed them?

    OMG, they are ADORABLE! I am amazed at how well trained they are. You certainly have a way with animals. Those last pictures are adorable. They must be totally tolerate, eh?

    No I bred them all. They were all handfed by me instead of their parents from the age of one week old.

    Cute pics! How the heck do you teach birds to play dead?
    I didn't teach them they just trust me enough to do it I guess.

    Great photos! Thanks so much for taking the "set up" time!
    It only took about 5 minutes to set up and take all the pictures. They are all very cooperative.
