Looking for wild bird feed at good prices

Where can I find large 40-50 pound bags of wild bird food at a good price. I usually buy it at Sam's Club at $8.50 for a 40 pound bag but they didn't have it today and looked like they weren't going to carry it anymore.

I checked WalMart but I don't like that brand they carry because it has a lot of filler that the birds won't eat. Is there anywhere else that carries a good quality food at a cheaper price?

With the drought here there isn't a lot for the birds to eat so I've been trying to keep food and water out for them all time.

Try an agricultural feed store, even if it is a bit of a drive. You might be surprised! If there's one near you, give them a call and ask if they have it and what the prices are.

If there is a wildlife rescue around, you can ask them where they get theirs.

    Just a thought.
