Pictures! Maggie and Autumn

Here are the long awaited pictures of the girls. They aren't anything special. Most of them are of Autumn because she has been sticking by my side while Maggie has been checking things out more. I was very nervous to let them off leash because we don't have a fence and I didn't know if they would recall very good out here since it is new. But, they both did great and come running back when they wander too far, not that there is too much trouble for them to get into.

Anyways, on with the pictures. ..

These were from last night. Autumn was in the laundry room while my sister was giving Maggie a bath. The girls smelt HORRIBLE so as soon as they walked in the door they got baths. I don't have any pictures of Maggie from last night though.

Great to see your girls again! They look so happy to be back with you! Maggie is so pretty, but Autumn always catches my eye!

Yes, they are both very happy to be here. Now that they can be in the house, they don't even want to be.

As soon as I bring them in they want to go back outside. I think they like it because it's always warm here, not 30 degrees like back home in Minnesota. Hopefully they'll come around and want to spend more time inside though.

I will definently be posting more pictures soon. Hopefully this weekend we will be bringing them into town to the dog park, and to petco to get some much needed supplies. There weren't dog parks where we used to live, and now there are dog parks in the two nearest towns, but they are pretty small. I'm excited for them to interact with some other dogs again.

Alicia - I really want to get horses, and we will eventually. I miss riding so much, and I went to a rodeo last weekend and I realized how much I want to ride again. We are living here for a year to decide if we want to stay or not. (we didn't sell our farm or house back in Minnesota) So if in a year we all decide that we like it here and want to stay here, then we are going to get horses, but if we don't like it, we don't want to build a barn and arena and all that and then end up moving back.

I'm glad to see that you have Maggie and Autumn back with you.

I'm sure they will adjust to their new life in Arizona just fine. I think they'll like being in the house more too, they just aren't used to it yet. I have to say I'm jealous of all the Joshua Trees you have around you, I love Joshua Trees.

I'd love to have some in my yard, but its much too cold up here for them.
