Connecticut Company Recalls Pet Food

(Providence, RI) -- A Connecticut company has issued a nationwide recall of select tubes of three of its poultry products for cats and dogs. Bravo says the batches of its Original Formula Chicken Blend frozen raw food, its Original Formula Turkey Blend frozen raw food, and its Basic Formula Finely Ground Chicken frozen raw food may be contaminated with Salmonella, Listeria, or both. So far no illnesses have been reported as a result of the potential contamination. The specific batch numbers which are subject to the recall are available at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration website.<

Its sad how careless pet food manufactures are. It seems like there is an food recall almost once every month or more. Very sad...
