    Neighborhood in lockdown- freaky

Right now the neighborhood at my girlfriend's house is in lockdown. There is a convicted murderer on the loose who escaped from a prison in Minnesota and drove all the way here. He stole the car and crashed it right on our road when he was being chased by police and fled on foot. Our doors are locked. Right behind us is an abandoned barn and a wooded quarry. I am so freaked out right now. Hopefully they find this guy fast.

    Freaky, indeed!
Hopefully this guy is caught soon. Its scary when people like that are close by & on the run. Definately not a great way to start the weekend off with.
    Stay safe!

Sorry, attempted murder, and a gang member of some sorts. They seem to have straightened out the story a bit since the first news flash aired. Its been almost 5 hours since he was last seen running from the scene.

How very frightening for you - although not energy efficient keep all your lights on and your cellphone (if you have one) on your person. Don't hesitate to use it if you have to.

    Stay safe.

Update: they now think they are chasing a different guy who is wanted. After looking at the video cameras in a gas station he drove off without paying at. But the Minnesota license plates on the car don't fit the story of the new suspect. So, there's two wanted guys on the loose and the cops don't seem to know who they're chasing. Good to know. We'll be keeping the doors locked even when we're home for a while.

Please, if your dog is arthritic look into getting it Elk Velvet Antler. Look up my posts on it, PM me, or look it up on a search engine; but please if you love your dog and want it to live many more years consider this option. I've seen so many posts on here about dogs needlessly suffering. I can't make a new post about EVA every time so this plea is going here. EVA also helps with other ailments such as anemia.
