    My tame Zebra finches (12 pics)

    Here are some pics I took today of my two tame finches sitting in my windowsill.

    Sprout my 5 1/2 month old girl.





    Take a guess at who the boss is around here. Neither one of them like each other actually. They prefer the company of people to finches



    Beep my 2 1/2 year old baby boy





    Zoe and Oliver you will always be missed wait for me at the bridge babies.

    Also owned by 2 cats named Olive and Sophie
    1 bunny named Houdini
    1 syrian hamster named Oreo
    A 17 year old cockatiel named Baby
    7 zebra finches named Beeper, Zeb, Sprout, Buzz, Scout, Jack and Pearl
    7 bettas
    and several tropical fish

    Awww thank you for posting! My mom breeds zebra finches and Ive grown to love watching them and they sound pretty too! Do yours whistle and chirp? My mom has 40 of them at the moment (to think she started out with two lol) and they sure make thier presence known!

    I absolutely adore finches. They make the most pretty songs.
    Your two are stunning! I agree with CathyBogart, there is just something so amazing about tame finches. Since I know they aren't the bird for me(resulting in me never actually owning them), I enjoy seeing pictures of yours. :]

    Wow for finches being so small and so hyper, you got some amazing pictures of them!

    They are both so cute, and you can just see the personality in their eyes and the way they stand.

    I hope we get to see more of these finces again soon.
