Come see what the boys got today.

Twice a year our main street has a giant sidewalk sale. No cars allowed.
The merchants have their stock outside and some stores have real good sales. I hit pay dirt at the pet shop. They had a 5 foot cat tree on sale half price. It was regular $130.00, on sale for $65.00 and an adorable hammock, regular $30.00 for $15.00. Needless to say, I couldn't resist. The cat tree I have now is only 3 1/2 feet and has seen better days.

    On with the pictures.

Lindy Lou was the first one on the tree and in the hammock.
The hammock has a green polyester side for the summer and a fleece side for the winter.

Yes the others had a turn on the tree but not on the hammock yet. I think Lindy Lou has claimed it as her own. LOL!!!

I hadn't realized how lovely she is - those mackeral tabby markings. Looks like she's got her area staked out.

Wow! You put the cat tree next to all your pictures and knick knacks, etc.! I can't even imagine what a mess I'd have on my hands w/my younguns jumping from the tree to the shelves. You must have really good kitty kats! What a great buy, though! Lucky!
    Blessings,

Very nice and what a deal! Love the hammock - I know a few kitties here who would be claiming it like Lindy Lou.

LOL!!! It's not as close as it looks Mary, but since I've had that up since last year, no one has attempted to jump up on any of the shelves. Do I dare say "YET."

I'll be glad to send Moxie up and let her help you "cat proof" your house. That cat can find and get into/onto the most amazing things. Just about an hour ago she was doing a balancing act on the skinny top edge of our new 46" LCD TV. I almost had heart failure because if she slid down the screen with her claws it would ruin the TV.

She and Decker are coming up on their first birthday this weekend and I can testify that I have twice as much gray hair as I did last year.

Oh, I forgot, she has figured out how to get to my little nick-nack shelf and has broken two things already. I still can't figure out how she does it.

No, no, it's okay Lori. No need to send Moxie here.

She is quite the dare devil, isn't she. I think that adorable girl is taking her life in her hands, or I should say, "paws", if she doesn't stop playing the balancing act and breaking things.

What I'd like to know is how do your guys get off the hamock without it falling over on them.

I've always thought those things were so cute.

Lindy and Nugget have been the only two so far that have gone on the hammock and they just stepped off to the side. It's pretty well balanced and as long as they don't step on the front edge of it, I think it will stay put.
