    Unhappy Rip Bob

Well its been quite awhile since I've been able to just sit down and enjoy PT and some things have happened since then. One terrible thing that happened about a month ago is in my tank all my bottom feeders got some kind of disease. I have no idea what it was and neither did alot of fish experts it was just weird.

Well Bob usually doesn't catch anything and gets through everything, but this time he didn't make it He caught the disease and for awhile I was really hoping that he would make it when one day he was just suffering so bad. I took him out and put him in a bowl with some clove oil and he was so bad that it was only a minute and he went to sleep and passed away.

I will miss Bob, he has been with me for a few years and was one of my most favorite and loved fish.

Please enjoy all the algae under the rainbow bridge Bob.

I will love you forever Bobo

I'm very sorry about Bob, Kalei. He was very cute; I had an algae eater that favored Bob but mine had a little bit of an orange color. His name was Sucker and he was with me for about 4 years. I really miss him too.

I just wanted to ask this, is the clove oil painful for the fish? I mean I know you or nobody else here would ever do anything to hurt their pet, but it just sounds like it would be all uncomfortable for the fish. >>I don't mean anything by asking this, I was just wondering....

and again I am SO sorry about Bob!!!!!
