    Are you using AMD or Intel Computers?

    Actually, i use both. I use Intel in my two desktops and an AMD Duron in my laptop.

    Ever since I had an AMD chip go south 1 1/2 months after install, I refuse to use them. (Yes it was installed properly, properly cooled, etc.)

    I'm on an Acer laptop, right now, and it has AMD Sempron. I think our Dell laptop, which is our home computer, has Intel, but I'm not sure.

    My husband and I have used nothing but AMD chips for the last 8 years or so. I love my computers!

    We are computer nerds, too. Right now we have 4 full systems, plus 2 laptops. Someday soon we're upgrading mine so we'll have 5 plus the laptops.

    Well I don't want to get out of the chair and disturb the cat so I'll take a guess at what's here. About 7 Intel, 8 AMD and 6 Macs. Will be building another AMD soon and maybe getting a new Mac. As a system builder for many years I find that the later CPUs are very evenly matched.
