    Toygers?

For $ 1200, you can get yourself a "toyger": Utah Woman Breeds New Kind of Cat

Or you can go to your local shelter and adopt a tabby.

    Toygers?

Well there you go Like we need a new breed of cats.. I would say at $1,200.00 this could go towards alot of spaying/nuetering, food, supplies for shelters with so many dumped babies..

Is this breed definitely new? I'm sure I've heard of it before....

Seems the world's moving on from designer dogs to chic cats

Oh, they're beautiful! But so is my little senior rescue, Smudge!

And he's got better fashion sense, too.

I've heard of this breed before but I prefer to adopt rescue kitties. Just think of all of the great cat supplies you could buy for $1200.00.

Wow. The photos look....just like my Howard (he's a tabby). Same stripe pattern and everything.

They're pretty, but it's so sad that there are already so many beautiful babies in shelters. I just don't see paying $1200.00 when the satifaction you feel from adopting is so wonderful!

i remember when this breed first came out, it does anger me though because there are so many babys in shelters and everything and there is a bad over population and people are just adding more! $1200 could go to a lot of things, and can help A LOT of animals !

I remember reading an article when it first came out, and she breeds a bengal with another kittie but I cant remember wat it is! They are cute but idk they are just taking the spotting of the bengal and turning it into stripes and are taking the glittering effect! I do remember in the article them saying it is going to take some time until they get the full result and look of the toyger, but I rather rescue kitties and well like most of us have said $1200 could go to a lot of things and a lot of spays/nueters!

I have a bengal, but they don't cost 1200! he cost 200, bit of a difference! they are cute, but Buddha is my baby!

well, like some said I'd definitely not give that much for an animal when they're tons of others that need homes/etc, but they are neat looking and would be cool to have one of they were a reasonable price

Just what we need, more cats! The people who want these 'tigers' should spend their money to help keep the full sized ones in their jungles.
