Female GSD in Saginaw, MI in need of rescue...

Cross posting this for someone on another message board I'm on. Let me know if you know of someone who can help and I'll put you in contact with this poster.

P.S. for those that don't know GSD = German Shepherd Dog

I was contacted by a man and his wife in Saginaw about 2 dogs. The
people sadly had to move out of the house to an apartment and as we
all know apartments do not accept most dogs. They found a home for
the PIt Bull, however the GSD still needs help asap. It currently is
living with an 80 year old woman and she chains it to her front porch.
the dog has never been an outdoor dog. The dog is female 1 year old,
pure bred, loves kids and all people, not a barker, enjoys belly rubs
all the time, up to date on vaccinations but still needs to be spayed.

PLease let me know if you can help this girl asap.

    Please cross post

Please, if your dog is arthritic look into getting it Elk Velvet Antler. Look up my posts on it, PM me, or look it up on a search engine; but please if you love your dog and want it to live many more years consider this option. I've seen so many posts on here about dogs needlessly suffering. I can't make a new post about EVA every time so this plea is going here. EVA also helps with other ailments such as anemia.

Could this get any worse. What in the world is this dog doing there?

I would definately recommend these people get her into a GSD Rescue
    ASAP.Is she in Michigan now?

    Yes, it got worse...

Got a sad reply in email. Please keep the GSD in your thoughts and prayers. I had emailed H****** asking questions about it because i thought of a possible home for it.

    -----------------------

"Sadly the dog was turned over to animal control by the lady that was supposed to be watching it. We have contacted the owners to let them know.

If I end up getting her I will let you know.
    "

And the pound this dog is being held at does NOT work with rescues.

    H. herself is a rescue (all breed.) (The person I'm cross posting this for.) "If i end up getting her..." is referring to springing the GSD from the pound.

And yes, as the title of the thread states, this dog IS in Saginaw, MI.

If you hear from this women again, could you find out if she manages
to get this dog away from the pound? I know GSD rescue manages to
find some way to spring dogs & get them into a rescue setting.

That poor GSD. It'll keep him in my prayers. I wish we could take on another pup.

Another rescue left a message and said the dog wasn't at the pound today. (I didn't get any more info from them. Not sure if they just called, did a walk through, or if they asked anyone if it might be in quarantine We're just all hoping that the poor dog was adopted.) Hopefully I'll get more answers soon.

Paws crossed she's just not up for adoption yet..... or that someone already took her.

I'm just now seeing this....any updates? Hubby and I have contemplated getting a female GSD for a little while (no promises, especially with the baby on the way) and she sounds perfect. Don't know how we'd get her here, but we could work something out. Please let me know if you hear anything!

Still no news. I've emailed the original poster about a few things and still haven't heard back from her. *sigh*
