Anyone familiar with Turkish Angoras or Vans?

This is Annie...



She was a stray that hitched a ride in our truck one night. She has a lot of characteristics and personality of a Turkish Angora, but we were wondering how big she would eventually get. We read somewhere that Turkish Angoras and Turkish Vans don't reach their full size and weight for 2 years! Is that right? If so, she's on her way to becoming a BIG Kitty. She's already out weighing 2 of our other adult boy cats. We got her in December and she was 4-5 months old then, so she's 10 months now.

She is beautiful!!! I used to have a cat that looked like Annie, only she was all black with just a smidge of white on her belly. I showed her in cat shows in the household pet category and she did great!

The thing that distinguishes a Turkish Van is they have a color in their tail and a splotch of the same color on their head.

I dunno what breed is in Annie, but she's beautiful! Kinda looks like my Jack & Josh.
