Lacey got SHAVED at the Groomer's

She looks SO tiny right now! It really WAS necessary with all the mats she had in her coat.

Quick reminder, here she is yesterday:

And this is after the groomer finished things up:

We can tell Sugar and Lacey apart for a few weeks now.

Lacey has had all her shots, has no worms, is heartworm free. She goes in for her spay on Tuesday. Also at that time, she will have her teeth cleaned, and get a microchip. Sugar missed her the 4 hours she was at the groomer's, and has been hanging close to Lacey since I brought her back home.

Awww, Lacey you look wonderful!! That's so cute that Sugar missed her. It's great that they took to each other so quickly.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

She's so cute Sandie!! Already bonded with her sister-how precious. Thank you for taking such good care of her. They are just meant to be together.

Sugar, you're just loving your new little sis aren't you cutie pie? Too bad Fritz can't come over. What a fun time that would be

Holly, no, I did not stay. They had her for a bit over 4 hours!!! Did the works, bath, blow dry, cut; ears, nails, paw pads. Same place I take Sugar, but with Sugar I do the ears, nails, paw pads and bath and they just do the trim. I stay for that it is only half an hour. Lacey really REALLY needed all this work. Poor dear. I know she spent some time in the cage in the back; that is what I won't do to Sugar, having been a puppy mill rescue. It just isn't right for her.

The vet had shaved Lacey's belly the day before, trying to locate a spay scar, and he said she was quite docile to work on, he didn't even call an assistant over. The groomer said she was fine. She was happy to see me and hasn't left my side since I picked her up!

I love the pictures of them together up on the bench! Looks like Sugar's decided Lacey can stay! I didn't realize how l-o-n-g those little Bichon bodies were. She must feel so much better now.

Yes, Pat these two ARE long. Sugar is about 15 inches. The standard for show quality is 8 inches!
