    Marshmallow Update

    He tested negative!

Dr. said that overall he appears to be in pretty good condition. No ear mites or fleas. The skin sores could be from a number of things but he didn't think they were ring worms (he had one on his neck and 2 on his back). His teeth, at first glance, seemed OK, but he'd look closer when the anesthesia took more affect.

He's giving him shots and tipping his ear.

Marshmallow will probably be ready to come home this afternoon

    GREAT news!

Do you think he is tameable/adoptable?

He is such a beautiful boy!

Bless you for looking after him.

I have decided that "negative" to a cat person, is the most beautiful word in the world! I have been known to dance around the exam room at the vet's office when I hear that...hubby tells me it scares the cat....

    Yeah Marshmallow!!!!!

He has such a sweet look in that picture. And he sure does look like that garden statue. Really happy to hear he tested negative.

Not quite sure yet. I was just beginning to get him to come onto the patio when I feed. He's very skittish. He'll always have a home in our backyard with the other 4 ferals!

We released him this evening and he tore out like his feet were on fire! We haven't seen him since. He knows where his meal ticket is so hopefully in the next day or so he'll return. I'm sure he'll be more cautious than ever, but at least he neutered, shots, and a clean bill of health!

I'm sure he is just holed up in a hidey-spot making sure the "monsters" are gone! I am sure you'll see him in a couple of days...but it might be a while before he gets on the porch again!

And yes - clean, neutered, and healthy!
