    Brussels Griffon

Anyone have one of these guys? I don't think I've ever seen one in person... they're great! I love the ones with wild beards

I don't have one, but there is one that comes to our dog park, and let me tell you she is one tough little cookie.

I've seen them at dog shows. They seem to be happy little dogs, almost like a bigger dog in a little body, and they seem to have terrierl-like qualities.

I've been looking into getting one... Not sure if I ever will... but I've been thinking about it. There are smooth coat and rough coat varieties... I personally would prefer something with short smooth hair, but a long wild beard is a must. The only thing that's stopping me is Cronos, he'd get jealous! Plus I was thinking about getting another boston terrier too... so, who knows... But boy, I love these Brussel Griffons!

I don't have one, but I groom several.

They are personality plus, not a dog for the faint of heart. Of course, being a terrier person myself, I like that quality in a dog.

I certainly wouldn't mind having one someday.

To me, they look like a tarantula crossed with a spider monkey.

I've been reading and learned that the smooth coat ones do not get that great beard

I love Brussels! I just met one last Sunday. The owner said he wasn't very friendly but he let me pat him. He smelled my hand (it smelled like Fenway). He was very cute.
I love Fenway, JoJo, Olivia and Nonnie!

You still have plenty of chances! There are a lot of dog shows in your area. Here's one on June 15th:

I checked the Premium and there should be both Rough and Smooth Brussels Griffon at the show
