It is such a pleasure, and an honor, to initiate your Pet of the Day thread, Kirsten! I was so touched, moved to tears, reading your human's heartfelt tribute to her precious furbuddy. Oh, what a brave (as well a beautiful) wheeker girl you are, Kirsten! I'm so sorry to learn of the loss of your eye but it doesn't seem as though even such a challenge can keep you from living and loving life to it's fullest And what a wonderful, devoted family you have there by your side Kirsten, providing you with best of medical care and all the love your heart can hold! I'm hoping by now you're fit as a fiddle, back in the big pen with your piggie pals and loving life to the max! You are such a deserving Pet of the Day sweetheart and it was an honor getting to know you! Kirsten,
What a cute little guinea pig you are! And you certainly have been through a lot. I am so sorry that you had to have your eye removed. But you certainly were very strong about it. You are a wonderful and especially deserving Pet of The Day, because of all you have been through, and because you stayed strong the whole time. Happy Pet of the Day, deserving, sweet girl! I am glad someone else other than me has written about you, and I hope many others write about you, too, because you deserve it! Much love to you, and hopefully your caring owners will give you some treats and extra pets today.

Such strength and courage you have had to muster, darling Kirsten. Soon you should be well enough to be reunited with your friends, and nap in your favorite spot. Meanwhile you have much to be grateful for and much to celebrate! With your indomitable spirit, I predict you will adjust just fine to having one eye. My Schuyler has vision in only one eye, and he wants me to tell you that it is really not a hardship at all. Enjoy being crowned our most precious POTD . . . oh, how you deserve the honour, loving, pretty little Kirsten!

What an honor it was to meet you today. Oh I just want to kiss that cute little nose. I was so sorry to hear that you lost your eye. It certainly sounds like you have a wonderful loving family and that you are brave. Nice to hear how much you are enjoying your life even with all you have been through. Kiss and cuddles sweetheart.
