Weight issues, Lumber Cats and Whirling Dervishes?

I have always loved the Lumberjack "Olympics"....

Chopping wood, throwing axes, climbing trees and the log rolling events.

Last night I unwittingly was entered in the log rolling event.

There I was, minding my own business sound asleep.

I felt the Lumber Cat hop on my ankles and work his way up to my stomach.

Not a good thing since I had a nice dinner and was dreaming the dreams of a satisfied man....

This huge cat stops on top of me and begins to circle the "log" looking for a spot to begin the event.

I rolled to one side-The Fat One survived that move...I rolled to the other side trying to dislodge him - Nope, no dice!

By the third move I felt the blanket slide off me and the Lumber-Cat finally realized he was not going to win this event.

Since I had now spun out of my comfort zone and stopped my "dervish" I figured out that one of us needs to do a little "portion controlling" at dinner time, not sleep on their stomach and clip the nails on the cat......making it harder for him to hold on.....

I guess Paul Bunyan never had THAT kind of a problem!

Only you Richard would view it as a sporting event! I guess we all have been a unwillingly entered into that even as all that sounds like something that has happened here too! ACK! And I am NOT into sports!

I REMEMBER WHEN MR SCRAPPY USED TO CLIMB UP ON MY CHEST AND SIT THERE PURRING LIKE EDDIE DOES.
SOMETIMES IT COULD BE ANNOYING , BUT I SURE MISS THAT THESE DAYS.
