Allie left for the RB 5/12 :(

Allie is my boyfriend, Joe's Golden. She was sent to the Bridge on 5/12. She has been battling cancer for a while. She was given 3 months to live in August. Allie was the sweetest girl you'd ever want to meet. I have posted about her before. Allie, you fought so hard, but it was your time to go. Your family should be comforted by the fact that they did everything they could for you.

I am so sorry to hear of Allie's passing.She now has no pain and play and can play and run free with the other dogs up around the Rainbow Bridge.Maybe she will see Ruffles and my dad up there having a walk or just plain old playing like he used to.My deepest sympathy to you and everyone,must be feeling a bit sad.It is hard to get over a loss like this,but it will gradually get better.

In many ways, Allie was such a lucky dog. If I read the other thread properly, this is her THIRD time with cancer. Only a dedicated owner could help her put up the fight over and over, and share the joy and fun of a dog in between times. She was allowed to be herself and play and romp for so many years because she had such grand owners. RIP Allie, and hugs to you and boyfriend Joe.
