    My favorite picture

I have posted several pics of our garden before. But yesterday I took this one, and to be honest, it brings such a relaxed feeling to me . I feel like I HAVE TO share this with you all . Looking at nature can be so good for your soul

The woodpath you see in the front is a bridge, deviding the pond in 2 parts (the fish can swim under it, and during cold wintermonths they all sleep UNDER that bridge
To the right there is a stone path. Our living room is on the right of it. We have this lovely view from behind the window! If that isn't relaxing

That's a fish pond? I thought it was a swimming pool until I read your description!

That IS a relaxing scene; especially for us, we don't have to do any of the maintenance!

    yup, you lucky ducky.

what a excellent home view. always have loved your garden, especially when it has a pond! once in our neighborhood when I was little, I would always go over to (7) houses away where they had a pond with some fish I could look at peacefully. I was, well am still a very curious girl.

beautiful yard!! I hope you're feeling a lot better and are doing well, my dear.
rest and sleep softly sweet locke..

Lol !! Thanks for the sweet comments

Here you can see how close the pond is to the house (these are 2 pics from 2001: no plants yet in the garden)

The first picture you posted reminds me as if it was Japan. With the pretty white and orange fish, or the black white and red fish, swimming in the pond. Frogs on the lily pads. Also some siamese cats along the little deck watching the fishes swim by.

That is such a pretty picture, thank you for sharing.

Wow your backyard honestly looks AMAZING!

I always love seeing pictures when you post your garden too. It's so nice colourful and neat but also really full.

And the pond and that whole set up is just WOW.
