Zoee is a beautiful girl! My boyfriend and I are really fond of this breed. Do the make good pets? Everything that I've read says they do. I've been looking on the rescue websites at all of them. As a cat owner, I don't really know alot about dogs, but would LOVE to have one.

Zoee says thank you to all! She spent the morning at the groomers getting all pretty (going to see the cousins this weekend). Luckily it was quick trip and she is already home.

Pawla - I personally think they are great pets. However, they do require a lot of exercise. We had a blue merle when I was a child and he used to bite at the cars tires as they drove up the driveway. But he passed away of old age. And as you've probably read, they are smart dogs. Although, Zoee has her moments. (skunk dog) LOL

Blue Girl - Yes, I do hear many compliments about her eyes, but I love it!! I couldn't imagine her without two different eye colors. I think it fits her personality perfectly.

So now both of my "children" have had their special days. I'm such a proud mom.

We have a Bay Area Honoree as our DOTD ... how nice!!! I used to live closer to you (Vallejo), but now I live in Sacramento. I enjoyed reading all of the previous posts about you.
