    We got Wallace! --update *pics*

The foster mom and another rescue lady came today and left him with us. They were really picky about some kids toys being on the end table and some other stuff. As if we are first time puppy owners! I know they have to be careful, but when you've been handling dogs for longer than the foster mom's been alive, it gets annoying.
Let me tell you, I could barely hold my tongue. They were telling us what foods were good, but they had just switched from Beneful to nature's balance. We'll be switching him to something better. They use preservatives in that food I don't care for.
The first thing I did when they left was grab him and clip his nails. I mentioned they were long at the rescue place and they said he was at the groomers just over a month ago so they should be fine. I got at least 1/4 inch off each nail.
But we got him now. Horray! I don't think I'll go through rescues like that ever again. I'll adopt from the shelter.
I'll hopefully get pics up tomorrow. I say hopefully because our cd drive is broken and I can't install the program for my camera, but I might be able to use my roommates computer.

I won't keep you in too much suspense. He's a cocker spaniel. We were discussing names last night. We were calling him Rusty Wallace after the NASCAR driver since he knows Wallace already. We aren't sure if we'll change it.

Pictures didn't turn out great and I don't have many. I got the program installed on my computer, but all the pictures keep showing up as black squares. This is what I could get onto my roommates computer as of right now.

here are the original petfinder pics, he really does have a weird looking face because of his haircut and his sable colouring

He is adorable!! In your pictures he does look more Cocker and less Poodle. He actually looks a lot like my RB Cocker DJ. I love him already!!!
