    Pet events in the Chicago area

    May 19 - Lilac Time Mutt Strut 5K and 1 mile walk (8 am)
    Lilacia Park, 150 S. Park Avenue, Lombard
    Dogs are welcome to participate!

    May 20 - Harmony House for Cats, Chicago
    25th Annual 10K Walk for the Cats (There's also a 10-block "mini" if 10K is too hard)
    Registration 8:30 AM - Step-off 9 AM - Harmony House for Cats, 3809 N. Kedzie, Chicago
    Afterward - Meet the Residents! This is the best part! Hang around, hug and play with the kitties! (This is the shelter from which I adopted Cassie )

    I'd like to add the Anti-Cruelty Society Bark in the Park. I don't know if I can go but that is the shelter we adopted Niño from.

    Lambs Farm is a place for developmentally disabled adults - they teach work and life skills -- they have a restaurant, petting area, mini golf, an on-site bakery and pet shop.
