    ......You have seen my HUbby!!! Ha ha ha ha ha! Hubby just got his new 1968 Mercury Cougar! Needless to say he is a wee Bit excited!!

    They're not related, the Maverick was a chassis all to itself (with the Comet), while the Cougar shared a platform with the Mustang, which was an offshoot of the Falcon.

    Did he buy that as a project car to rebuild?

    My uncle had an old 66 vette that he let turn to rust in his yard... when he sold it, it was in much worse shape than the one ya'll just bought.

    Oh Yes. Hubby loves to rebuild cars, cant you see all the crap in my Driveway? Maybe this one might actually get done!
