    Guiness

Guiness the snow shoe looks and sounds very similar to my Wellington. I found him in a pet store, in Hamilton, Ontario with three littler mates who were all siamese. In Canada this color is NOT a recognised breed but in some states it is. I don't give a hoot. He has all the traits and color of a siamese and the size and muscular build of a domestic. Who could ask for anything more? I am going to try breeding him to a ragdoll (which is also large and mitted) and see what I get. They should all be short haired, blue eyed and pointed with at least mittens, if not the white triangle on the face. Has anyone ever tried this?

If you post this in Cat General, you will get more responses.

Warning, though - most folks here take a dim view of breeding when so many cats in shelters are put to sleep because they don't have a home to go to.

Cats who don't get spayed or neutered are more prone to cancer...and the males spray really stinky urine, and can be quite aggressive.

Please don't let your two have babies. It IS tempting to see what the kittens will look like - but think of them too. Would you have good homes for the kittens? And - that would take up spaces that a shelter cat might really need.

Just think about it, and what is best for the cats, ok?
