    Tobey update

He keeps lifting one of his back legs when out walking and hopping for a while. Mainly happens on hard surfaces, walks normally on grass and when he is at home he is still happily chasing Archie around the house without any problem.

I cleaned his paw last night and this morning and put ointment on it and he does appear to be limping less - I couldn't see any injury at all but will be off to the vet if the improvement doesn't continue.

He also has sore lips and I'm not sure whether its because of the headcollar which I am no longer using on him, or the fact that he loves to lick the sofa . This has now been sprayed with an anti-lick formula

I think he just wanted his own thread because Archie had one recently.....Honestly, they are worse than kids

Well Tobey didn't want to feel left out! Hopefully the limping is nothing, just a phase. As for the lips , a quick trip to the vet and a wad of $$$ should clear that up.

ain't that the truth Often think I should have my wages divided between the vet and the pet shop and bypass my account altogether

Seeing a vet is the best you can do!! Even if he only wants to gain your attention, it is always good to be sure! Give him a hug from me!!

Tobey you silly boy - not getting the attention you need? Mommy spending too much time worrying about Archie? Poor thing, having to get hurt just to get some attention. Now take care of yourself sweetie, mommy really does love you too!

Poor Tobey! Is it possible that it is noting to do with the pad? Maybe a sprained muscle in his leg from too rough playing? I remember Daisy doing something like that once.

I guess it could be - will try to get him to rest it and see what happens

Apart from rest how else would you treat a sprained leggy?

I honestly think that resting it is all that you can do. Although it may make him feel better if you give him belly rubs and nose kisses.

Yes Mom, more attention is in order. Tobey was feeling neglected when brother was getting all the pampering. More kisses and hugs Mom and The Tobester should be fine. Right cutie??
