Our friend rescued a very special boy!!

His name is Ronanii, but we call him Buddy (its going to be his new name). He is 4yrs old & is a Canne Courso (ya I have no idea how to spell it). Hes fixed (my goodness hes super saggy back there lol) & has health issues 10 pages long. Our friend fell in love with him & adopted him. Hes on 6 different kinds of pills & 1 liquid. He'll be on some meds for the rest of his life.

Some are for his Thyroids, bladder infection, & epilepsi(sp?).. I know he has more health issues but I cannot remember them off by heart.

His back legs are horrible. He cannot lift them to pee & he cannot squat (its funny to watch him pee, its so odd). He falls a lot, but hes such a happy go lucky boy, all he wants is loving & to play play play play & play some more lol

Him & Bear get a long GREAT! They play together, kiss each other & walk like pros together!! I'm not a very big person & I enjoyed our walk together tonight

He'll be here until the end of the week, then he & his new owner (our friend) will be going to Ottawa (their home).

Here are some pics of the very special boy!

Hi I'm Ronanii, know known as Buddy. My old owners did a horrible job on my ears, or lack of ears

My new mommy said said my lips are super droopy & when I drink water 1/2 of it leaks out & pours all over the floor! (its really really gross! sound like someone is dumping a pail of water on our kitchen floor!!)

See I'm a very big boy!

    LOOK AT ME I'M CUTE!!

This is my 1/2 docked tail

This is my back paw, mommy said its HUGE!

Awwww....Buddy sure is cute!! Love his gorgeous face. He looks like a Cane Corso/Rotti mix based on his coloring. But he sure is handsome!

Wow he is gorgeous! I love all dogs but really big ones like Bud pull on my heartstrings Wish your friends good luck with him and tell them to beware of idiots trying to stick it it to them with Ontario's infamous BSL as i believe Cane Corsos are one of the breeds on the list

    Thanks everyone
    Hes an awesome dog!!

When I was walking them both Bear & her pig self got into food off the street. While I was fighting with her, I accidently dropped Buddy's leash He kept walking away not knowing I had stopped. I said RONNIE COME! He stopped saw that I was far behind, turned around & came right back!!! I was shocked! He had only known me for about an hour & hes already coming when called. However having him 6" from my face while fighting with Bear wasn't fun (his head is MASSIVE!!!), but I was so thrilled!!! The THS said that he will NOT potty in the house. They said he'll hold himself, & when he goes outside, he'll stop right away & will pee & pee & pee & peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeee lol

I'm too impressed with this boy

Toronto Humaine Society said he should be fine (other wise they cannot adopt him out)... Cane Corsos are part of the mastiff family & thats whats on his papers. She was told to make copies & keep them handy incase anyone tried to pull anything on her.

He is adorable,Are you sure he is fixed?I would take him in to be checked non of my male dogs have ever been that saggy back there.

Storm has nothing left,But then i know different vets might do the procedure different but i highly doubt it.

They should run that by a vet.

He is a nice looking boy,And yes his ears are very short.

The vet said hes fixed, his sac is flat. Remember hes a wrinkly dog with a lot of extra skin! I think he was a VERY big & heavy boy back there, so that would explain the extra droopy skin back there... I have seen many dogs of his breed with massive testies that hug really low due to their size. ok I cannot stop giggling cause of this topic HAHAHA I'm at work & people are gonna start wondering & gonna make me let them read my posts.. not good lol

The vet Chad & our friend was talking to at the THS was PISSED about the cropping... The vet saif "IF" your going to do that to a dog, for christs sake get a vet to do it!!! Apparently the vet was outraged & ranted a lot about the super short cropping.. The vet said to be on the look out for ear infections, as he'll be more prone to getting them So far he has healthy ears

Hes a very happy fella, except for right now lol

I gated him & Bear in the kitchen to relax & rest after that long walk. I really only wanted Buddy locked up, but I wanted to be fair to both... Poor buddy was whinning & howling up a storm lol He stopped after 20 mins & went to sleep.

His MASSIVE paws have already broken the gate The little tab on the handle is broken off, so it hard to turn it as its now small hehe I told Chad not to put the handle on the insode of the gate.. that boy never listens
