Misty's got a problem! Opinions please?

I stopped by MIL's tonight and looked at Misty's incision from her spaying and it still looks really good BUT there is a firm, round lump under the incision that I hadn't noticed before. It feels like a small rubber ball (like a super ball). I called the vet and the vet tech said that sometimes happens from the dissolvable stitches and not to worry about it....it'll go away on it's own. Does that sound right? It just seems so odd!

Keep an eye on it - I'm sure the vet is right!

Once in a while, not very often, a spayed kitty can get a hernia. That's easily fixed.

But this one will go away, I'm sure.

Dixie's did too! It scared me senseless but I called her vet/my friend and it is normal according to her. It'll take a bit for it to go away but I can't feel any lumps now, it's been almost a year, but I know they've been gone for several months.

Ok, I'll try to relax a little bit then knowing someone else has had this, too. Thanks!
