Actually - I had been on the phone for 10 minutes when Cole, having snuffled some honeysuckle on the nearby scratch pad, just FLOPPED on his back and stayed there! LOL

I got off the phone and went to pat his tummy, and got "attacked" - you know, front paws wrapped around the forearm, not really biting, and bunny kicks like crazy!

He usually doesn't do that! I'll have to encourage him to play more.

But yes...how could one NOT rub that tumtum?

Moose Angel used to do that as well.
He would lie on his back big tummy exposed and start hisworld famous pigeon purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr until you gave in.
Then it sounded as though every pigeon in the world had landed near you.
We are so pleased that Cole got his tummy rubbed and got his wish.

You sweet fluffball! I'd love to rub your gorgeous tummy! My Smudge is just as fluffy and begs like that - but when I do, he goes all scratchy-bitey-kicky. He just doesn't know the difference between a human and a cat. How sweet it must be to be able to accept an invitation like that!
