(((Defender from the jets: *15 pics of Shadow*)))

One quirk that I don't think I've ever shared with you guys is Shadow's love for jets. (But maybe love is the wrong word?) The kind that you can only see the white streak in the sky. In the summertime she can be in a dead sleep in the garage and all of a sudden charge out barking and making her huffy puffy noises and looking towards the sky, sure enough, there'll be a jet. I have no idea when she started this, but it's a favorite of our friends. Everybody likes to always ask Shadow, "where's the jet???" and she runs around looking in the sky. There happened to be a jet today while we were all outside so I took a couple pictures of her trying to protect us from those evil jets.

OMG...that is so cool. I wonder what she's thinking when she sees them in the sky? I wonder if she was a pilot in another life?

Must be able to hear them, right? Can you - humans - hear them? Or are they high? Wonder how she sees them??? What a cute story. I love the photos, woof woof, pause and take a break, woof woof! What a champion taking on such a monster!

I'm really not sure how she know's they're there. We can't hear them, they're really high and only a white streak in the sky. She's done it ever since she was little, and it has always baffled us! I'll have to try and get a video sometime.
