    Saw a robin today!

I saw the first robin of '07 this morning as I was leaving for work! That makes me happy because it's a sure sign that spring is on the way (even as Chicago gets ready for a week of very cold weather). The days are getting noticeably longer, too! Hurray!

    Wow!
I hope no Robbins show up here! They'd freeze their little feathers off!!
It's only 6 here and it's not supposed to warm up anytime soon!

Maybe you better fill the feeder for the robin; I think he got blown off course! Winter has only - finally - started here! I've gone through more bird food in the past week than in all the past 3 months together, which is very unusual.

    Aww how cute,

I seen a robin in the middle of last winter, it had a pure white patch on it it's chest too, pretty rare but beautiful either way.

I saw one hopping up my driveway the day before yesterday. Guess it didn't know about this cold spot that was coming through.

I saw another one today in the same place as I did Monday. He's early, but then again we had such a mild stretch of winter there for awhile. We're going to have colder weather the next few days. I hope spring is not too far away.

I haven't spotted a Robin in sevral week, this is a sure sign of Spring comeing for us. Here in Georgia we get the Robin's during the winter and they fly away when spring starts to come. I can't wait for it to be warm again!

Saw them again today - there are several bushes planted along the guard rail in the parking lot where I work, and in one of them were 3 or 4 robins. I hope spring is on its way!

Since this is a bird thread(sorta), does anyone mind a bird question?

Ok.....do any of you see a bird in your yard called a Painted Bunting? At least I think that's the name. It's a beautiful multi-colored little bird. I have them in my yard occasionally. My sister says I should report the sighting because they are becoming somewhat rare. Can anybody shed some light on this?

    I've been Boo'd...
    Thanks Barry!
