He's home!!!! Well it was a long, but nice trip- over 500 miles, about about 10 hrs total sitting in the car! The weather was sunny, and the dogs were all very calm and quiet in the car- Royal slept almost the whole ride here. Hes been doing really well, and has already settled in very nicely.
Wed night when we got home he met all the dogs (my 2, and the 2 Im boarding right now), as well as Linus. (Oh and got a b-a-t-h!) Then he met all the girls at the training studio as well as 2 of their dogs. He was really shell shocked for the first hour but suddenly he came right out of his shell, started playing and confidently exploring the studio!
Yesterday he met the girls at the local pet store, and we walked around the town center there and he encountered lots of new things with ease. Its clear the breeder did an awesome job starting the pups' socialization. Hes so well adjusted. We were even "attacked" by some lovely women at a home decor store who were totally in love with him. The owner's husband's name was even Royal! lol
I cannot express how in love I am. He is so adorable, and so sweet. Oh and he has quite a voice!!! He has a beauuuutiful howl, and plenty of other interesting sounds. haha Hes not too keen on the crate yet, but gets better every time spent in it. The first night he cried a LOT which I fully expected, but last night was much much better- though he still cried quite a bit off and on.
Alki of course loves him (she loves all dogs/pups I bring home) and puppy-hating Brock has never growled at him, and even started playing with him yesterday! He NEVER play with puppies. Im ecstatic about that. Currently hes snoozing on my lap. <3 ANYHOO- on with the pictures!! The only ones I have uploaded right now are from my friend's (not so good) camera, from his first day. I took a bunch on my cam and will prob upload them on monday..
I call this my Britney Spears.. hahawe were actually stopped at the moment
