I remembered that Rachel started a thread (click here) about it. I hope you don't mind Rachel that I start this thread now?
Anyway,

THANK YOU KAREN AND PAUL FOR THIS BEST PLACE ON THE NET!

This is a nice get away for me if I feel sad, I come here and read posts and it cheers me up. I also love sharing Casper and Kitty's doings, and I love reading other stories and seeing pics. And I've also improved my english here, LOL, I've learned new words, and I've gotten some very good and dear friends too whom I cherish very much.

The past two years have been wonderful. I have met so many wonderful people here, learned so much and been entertained numerous times by the funny stories by Pet Talkers of life with a pet! There have been heartbreaking stories too, but the love and compassion of the Pet Talk community has been a comfort to those going through incredible sadness. I think my most memorable Pet Talk thread was the one about the little poodle who fought a terrific battle for her life but in the end did not succeed. Her name was Bella and, although my Bella was not named after her, when my husband came up with the name (and he had no idea of the story) I immediately said YES because I remember this heroic little dog and her wonderful person who did so much to try to help her. Here is the thread for any who weren't around back then.

Life before Pet Talk????? I can't remember what THAT was like! What wonderful friends I have made (human, furry, feathered, finned, shelled, scaled; you name it) these past two years! Thanks so much Paul and Karen for giving us a place to come to talk, grieve, laugh, cry, vent and most of all, express our love and RESPECT for our animal friends. You guys are the best! And Pet Talk is the best place on the web for those who care passionately for animals AND people!
