    Miss Scarlet....Settling In Just Fine

    Another good update on Scarlet. She is starting to stay in the house. I made her a nice warm place in my laundry room but she has decided that the dining room, under the server is a better place for her.





    Her hernia has mended quite well, however I felt another small lump a little higher up on her belly that I am going to have checked out.

    Scarlet tolerates Gracie and Gabriel but has nothing nice to say about Smokey or Vegas. Vegas is really bad towards her...hissing and spitting at her but if I catch him and just say his name really stern like, he turns away from her and puts his tail between his legs.

    I think she is adjusting to her new life really well.

    AWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!! Those tosies all curled up, asleep with a kitty smile....yep, she has adjusted just fine!

    LOL, I think she has settled in a bit more than just fine. She looks so happy and content!

    I hope the new lump isn't anything. Fingers crossed!

    Isn't it interesting that Vegas is so grumpy towards her? That is like here, R&R were the last ones here before Moxie and Decker and they are the worst about accepting them, big babies!

    She looks so comfy and relaxed and I'm glad to hear that she's settling in nicely. I sure hope that the other lump that you found turns out to be nothing serious.

    Well now, THAT is one content cat!!!

    And Vegas would logically be the one with the biggest objection to Scarlet. I usually find that the last cat to enter the family will have the hardest time adjusting to the NEW cat. (just an observation over the years.)

    I'm so happy Scarlet is in the purrrfect home getting all the love medical and comfort any cat would dream of.I love the place she picked.It's funny she reminded me of Colby in the first picture the way her feet are up and curled together,and on her back and then seeing her under the server where my Colby likes those kind of sleeping areas too
