A little comic relief

I remembered this reading about Schnapps (post by K&L), and Culture Junky's comment "imagine how many litters he has helped produce!"

I often attended fund raisers and seminars sponsored by the MSPCA (this is about 20 years ago). Staff members often served as speakers, sharing information they had gathered at the professional conferences they attended.

Two staff members had been flying to France (or somewhere in Europe, it's not important to this story) for a conference. They were giving a presentation at the conference, and they took along two training films they had produced for MSPCA internal training. This is back when such films were on reels! The films addressed the cat overpopulation. One was titled "She had Twelve Different Partners"* and the other was titled "She had 123 Grandchildren By the Age of 12."*

They were stopped by Customs Officials who had to find a projector and view the films. Customs thought they were bringing porn movies into the country! By the time everything was officially okayed and they were on their way, they had missed their time slot at the conference to show the films and give their presentation!

* Obviously I don't recall the exact titles after all this time, but you get the idea.

Bit of a sticky moment there! The customs officers are probably still telling people that story too!

What a shame that those boobs stopped those Cat Lovers from showing thier film, and those people had to miss them.
