Really funny horse story! ENJOY!!!!:D

My horse kitty hawk is really funny! I have to tell you about this one time. She had this coughing problem, found out it was because of the hay. My friend, Kalei and I was riding to the lake and when we got there was people tying they’re boat up. Kalei and I dis-mounted and went and stood in front of Kitty. Well she just started coughing and coughing like crazy. She coughed for a long time. I was so embarrassed. After a while I just started smiling, and shrugging, but my cheeks were still red with the embarrassment. They left and then she was fine. We mounted her again and started heading home. There were people out when we walked by these people’s driveway and then, guess what? She started coughing again. I know that she used to do it on purpose because she would never cough in the pasture till you get a saddle near her. Oh and she used to fake fall asleep too! Its really funny when she didn’t want to be rode, you put a saddle on her and do the synch up loosely and she would “act drunk” she would stumble around and when I went to get on her, she would stumble sideways. I just continued getting on because I know that she would never fall over! After she is done her stumbling spell, she waits till your riding in front of someone’s driveway and she coughs! Funny girl.

I don't think she would do that on purpose..the saddle might have been on wrong, the wrong size , the girth might have been the wrong size and was consitricting her. If my horse was constantly coughing I would get the vet not laugh...

the vet was down mulitiple times, they said it was because of the dust in the hay and i changed it to different people that i got the hay from and i know enough about horses that i know that nothing was wrong i know how to put on a saddle and i know that nothing was too tight! i'm not cruel! kalei and i know's kitty's personality and she does try to make a fool out of you. she has that type of personality. horses do funny things, and this was one of the things that kitty used to do.

Yep, that's Kitty! And you definitely know your own horse enough and you also know a lot about horses.

Yes Kitty Hawk is a very funny horse. She is just old and out in the pasture alot and she doesn't like to be ridden because she is a lazy horse, so she tries to get out of it by pretending to fall asleep. And it really was just the dust in the hay, and sometimes she does cough just to try and get you off, cause it couldnt' be the saddle, she coughs sometimes even if you ride her bareback. But now the hay is changed and she's all better.

I had an old dog like that. She loved going for walks at her top she was dragging us out for up to 8 walks a day but usualy around 5. She would be walking along nice and fast then we'd get near people and she'd slow down. You could slow down for her but she'd just slow down even more and get to lag way behind then as you past the people they comment on the poor old dog who couldn't keep up but soon as we were past she'd speed up again.
