Certain Sacrifices Need to be Made

When one is a traveling kitty, one must make sacrifices. Most of the comforts of "home" can be accomplished, just maybe not in such style and comfort. For example, the E's recently posted a picture of themselves all nogged out by the fireplace. Since the motorhome has no fireplace, CJ has to make do with the next best thing - a heated floor in front of the heat outlet.

And instead of a really nice cat tree to climb on to look out the windows, CJ must make do with the next best thing - a perch looking out the screen door.

Since the computer and printer need to share the kitchen table, CJ must make do and share the kitchen table also.

And since his sister is constantly in the bathroom these days, it's sometimes necessary for CJ to make do and share the facilities. (I call this my "two seater." )

(CJ normally perches on the edge of the litterbox, but when Peanut came up he got flustered and "fell" off the edge. )

And finally, since things are just not as roomy and spacious as they were in the house, CJ must make do and squish himself between the couch and the dinette. My little butterball.

    More----------------->

Video is of CJ by the "fire." The droning noise is the heat blowing.

Peanut on the other hand, sacrifices nothing! She sleeps in comfort.....

gets to go outside now and then....

gets excellent toys to play with...

    gets fed whenever she pleases....

    gets to snuggle with mom....

    and even gets Christmas cookies!

What more could a kitty ask for?

Rough indeed! Making that poor kitty bake all those cookies. I sure hope you helped her some, especially with the clean up! Yup! Looks like she is really roughing it as best she can in that motor home..

WOW! CJ does look like a butterball! He must like to eat when he travels like I do.. He looks so pitiful having to live so rough.. ... what else is there to do but EAT?

(Such a cute picture stoy of them roughing it in their travels!)

Great pictures. I'm glad that both Peanut and CJ have easily adapted to the motorhome. Those cookies sure look good.

Thanks for the smile this morning! Great photos and captions! Happy Holiday's to you all!

CJ is so much the traveling kitty he can handle whatever comes his way! And Peanut...it appears her motto is "when life gives you lemons....make a margarita!"

Glad they are able to see the USA with you.

CJ- it is so lovely of you to sacrifice some of your comfort for your sister who deserves every Christmas cookie she can get

Preciuos pictures.I loved all of them so much.I would love to be a cat and be owned by you and get to see the country
CJ looks like a VERY happy camper.Peanut is such darling. That's so kind of you to have 2 cat litters in such a small space.I know it helps both be comfortable and happy.
I hope Peanut is doing good. She looks like she's holding up very well.

Thank You Kim for this wonderful siggy
