    Freedom Tower

    I'm not sure if this belongs here or the Dog House. They started raising steel for the Freedom Tower! One of the beams was signed by the steel workers, and another by families of the victims. This has been a long time coming.

    Sorry I might sound a bit stupid but is this for 9/11 - I am not sure as I do not live in the U. S.

    The Freedom Tower is being built on the World Trade Center site (but not in the footprints of the collapsed towers) I live in New York state and this is important as part of the rebuilding process.

    That sounds good I hope it is a fitting tribute to freedom and wish all well who are involved in the erection and design and memories built into it.

    I saw that on TV, they showed them actually signing that beam and I think that was a wonderful idea and was very touched by the gesture. Hopefully, it will help them heal even more.
