Do You Use A Travel Mug?

Can you help me? This is for work.

Do you use a travel mug? Is it stanless steel, plastic, acrylic?

    Does it have a handle?

Is it a curved travel mug or straight?

We're looking to order travel mugs and we want the hippest and hottest ones.

    Thank you for your help!

Since I work at a coffee shop I have a million travel mugs! However my favorite is a straight stainless steel mug with a handle. Those also seem to be the most popular at my work. They are more expensive but people are usually willing to spend money on the stainless steel as they last longer.

Thanks for the great signature Kay!

LOL -- I just filled mine for work!

Its purple see-through plastic with a stainless steel insert from the Rennaisnance Faire. It has a nice handle that has little bumps on the underside where your fingers should go.

I don't use them, but my husband does. His favorites are the tapered stainless steel ones. Of course, being dishwasher friendly is also important!

I echo Logan -- dishwasher safe is ultimate importance!

Stainless steel here. It is smaller in circumference at the base but not tapered - the base is smaller for the first couple inches up to fit a car cup holder - make sense? The steel seems to keep the coffee hotter.

Mine is NOT dishwasher safe because it has grandbaby pictures on it (came from Imagestation) - so dishwasher safe would be a big plus if I were to get another

Thank you all very much for responding. It seems most (if not all of you) have one with a handle. Yet my boss insists we get one without. I like the stainless steel (and my boss does too).

    Thanks again!

My favorite commuter mug is a stainless steel one with a handle. Get one that's lined so the coffee stays hot. Do not get the "flippy" type sippy mugs - they are a pain and the flippy part always breaks.

I have just a cheap plastic one at work with a handle. I use it for water and it works pretty good.

I just had to share this...
My nephew loves the band KISS and is always going to the local coffee shop so this year I decided to get him a new mug for Christmas (with a bag of yummy coffee included). Isn't this cool?!
