My dog is soo lathargic right now!

My little Toller ( who is EXTREMLY active and very spritely) is being so lathargic (well, in comparison to his normal self. He's being very GOOD, which is a change!!!!!) I was wondering, is it that he's growing up ( I thought this was the bad stage, considering this breed is grown at at 2. He'll be a year on June 22nd.) or is it this hot heat wave that were having here in Pennsylvania?

I'm from PA too and my dogs are not having problems with the heat although we do have air conditioning and when they come in they can cool off. Plus they love water so we have them hosed off several times and they even have their own kiddie pool! However, a 1 yr old should not being so lathargic. It could be something simple like worms. I had a similar bout with my first Golden and that's what it turned out to be.

Take your baby to the vet along with a stool sample.

How long has he been lethargic? Check his gums and make sure they are pink, not white. I would take him to the vet to rule out anything serious.
