    I got a second part-time job!!

    I'll be working at Petco in Newington (about 30 minutes away from where I'm staying now) as well as my Bed, Bath & Beyond job. I start next Tuesday, 10/17 for about 6 hours. I'm still on BB&B's butt to give me a definite date as to when my transfer will take place. I just need to find an apartment (have one in mind) up near the Hartford area so I won't have to drive so much.

    I think things are finally beginning to fall into place. I wonder what the employee discount is???

    Woohoo!! What a fun place to work. I don't think I would ever come home with a paycheck, though.. I'd wind up spending it all on the dogs!

    That's great news, Donna! About time you get a break! The Petco job sounds just like you. I hope the transfer within BB& B will happen soon and you find a nice flat too!

    Your probably gonna LOVE it!!!!! I worked at PetSmart once and it was sooooo much fun getting to see all the CUTE fuzzies that would come in with their humans!!!! And a discount for some goodies for the kitties!! yay!!!

    20% isn't bad at all!! Especially on cat food! I'm really looking forward to working there. I love talking to people about their pets. Ya know that PETCO commercial where the employee is jumps all over the cat tree having a good time? Well, that'll be me soon!

    I just spoke with my SIL from Michigan. She's going to make a weekend roadtrip to CT once I move into my new apartment and bring all the stuff I've got stored in her garage. I was beginning to worry about that because my car is so small and I don't have a credit card to rent a truck. That's one more thing off my list of things to worry about!
