Miss Nicki still isn't so sure she likes Cameron. I decided to try and help her realize he's not so bad, so I figured we'd show her just how nice he could be for her.
It went REALLY well until *someone* got greedy. Someone also forgot her "wait" command and took the treat from him too quickly once she realized he wasn't as bad as she thought he'd be. It actually was a LOT of fun and Cam was giggling and laughing as she took the treats from him. After about a dozen or so treats we called it quits for the day. Thats more than enough for an already heavy pup
The video is of the first two times she took the treats. It wasn't until after she started getting greedy that Cam started laughing. I think he liked having her take the treats from his hand!
I'm glad though that I started this command on her now so she learns right away to be polite and not grabby with food in his hand. We'll really have to work on reinforcing her wait and leave it commands, mainly because its all strange accepting those commands in regards to a little human who makes as much noise as he does
