Thread: New foster?

    New foster?

I have been corresponding with a woman for a couple of weeks. She has a dog that she cannot keep and would like us to foster.

Any idea to what his possible mix is? Or size?

He looks like an adorable little terrier to me.

UPDATE: I am going to go meet her and Urban (pup) on Sunday! We'll see what happens!

She said that he is a good boy but one of her other dogs just terrorizes the poor boy.

Awww! ADORABLE! Looks like a Terrier x to me. It's hard to tell from that picture, though.

    I'd say he's maybe 15-17"?

    Ahh, thank you!

I believe he is adopted from "the pound". She said he's always been real timid especially when you want to pet him, even though he really acts like he wants to be loved on super bad.

Does he look a little like Cathy Bogart's Jasper as a puppy? It sounds like he was abused if he's that timid. Poor little guy He just needs love and maybe he'll trust humans more. I know this...he is absolutely adorable and I wish I could meet him in person. He's a sweetie!!

Definitely a terrier of some sort, probably a mix. Very handsome!

I hope you realize that terriers are called terrors for a reason. They are wonderful dogs that love to dig. They're very smart too. They can be very mischievious and need to be monitored a lot. But they adore their owners completely. Once trained they're a delight to have around.

    Enjoy!

Thanks for all the ideas everyone!

Yup. I have had four terriers come into my life. Boy, they were a handful but their personalities were just SO comical and awesome.

Fond memories, of terriers and spaniels and rotties. (dogs I've had in my life!)
