Well, I have to have 40 hours of community service to pass high school, and I of course wanted to do something with animals. So my mom's been calling vets around the areas and seeing if they take volunteers. Our current vet that I absolutely love doesn't, so we called Roxy's old vet where she was spayed at.. They said they take volunteers and that I'd be doing things like walking, feeding, etc, with dogs, and probably some cat things, too! They told my mom to call back in the morning, so that's what she's going to do. I'm sooo excited!

That's cool! I tried volunteering at the vet in town but they didn't allow people under 18, so I started volunteering at the animal shelter instead!

Thanks . Ashley, I was going to volunteer at the animal shelter, but they make you be 16, and I'd rather do something now. Sooo many animals, and maybe they'll let me watch them do check ups or something.

Oh have fun! I need community service for highschool, too. I really want to volunteer at this great animal shelter by my house, so I'm probably going to just wait until I'm 16 to do that.
