    » Granddad's New Wolf Dog, Aunt's New Pup ― [ 12 pics ]

This is my Granddad who recently sent Chelsea to Rainbow Bridge on the 5th. Him and my grandma and aunt were looking around at shelters on Tuesday and found this girl, named Skinny (now named Shana). She's 2 years old and Husky x Wolf and something else. She was a stray dog up north, on a reserve. Random people fed her scraps. She got pregnant from a Border Collie. She gave birth to 8 pups, 3 females and 5 males. When they were 3 weeks old (they are now 6 weeks old), someone decided to take them to a pet rescue in the city, where my Granddad later adopted Shana and my aunt adopted one of the pups, who she named Keeva.

Shana - not pronounced like Shawna (Irish): God is Gracious

    "Hello, I'm Shana!"

My Granddad feeding her a cookie, and talking. No, he is not giving the finger. He has arthritis and holds cookies and points weird.

    Isn't she beautiful?

    More coming . . .

    Kisses for my sister!

    Wolf paws.

Not wanting to go back to the pups.

This is my aunt's pup, Keeva (6 weeks old). She's very quiet.

    One more post coming . . .

This pup was attacked at the vet's office. Another dog took him by the head and shook him. He was punctured in the eye. It used to look like it was about to fall out, but after surgery, it's just a bit lazy and turned up towards the upper-inside. He has a little bit of brain damage and walks sideways, but is extremely playful and painfree. He was seperated from Mom and the his siblings because of rough play.

Finally home, after having to go to the groomer's first!

    Home FOREVER.

Yeah, I think she has some Cattle dog. The only thing is, Cattle dog's are not popular up north, lol.
