Dalmatian/Schnauzer looking for a good home

My neighbor has a beautiful Dalmatian/Schnauzer named Honey that is looking for a good home in the state of Texas - Houston/Galveston area. Would be willing to drive farther for the right home. Honey is 2.5 yrs. of age, 56 lbs., very friendly, house trained, spade, has had all her shots and comes with a several months supply of Heartgard, as my neighbor works for a veterinarian.
Chrystal, (my neighbor), said Honey was living a foster home and the fostering mom said she had to go out of town, so Chrystal offered to take care of Honey while she was away. It's been a month and no one has heard anything from the foster mom and attempts to contact her have been futile.
My neighbor lives in a flat with a dog of her own and unfortunately doesn't have the room for the Honey I will post some pictures soon! Potenial owners must have a fenced in yard and lots of love. The contact email address is ... Feel free to contact if you have any questions, or post them here. Thanks!

Oh, a question - does she shed (like a dalmatian) or not (like a Schnauzer)? That might help people decide, as a nonshedding dog is one that can often be owned by folks with mild dog allergies.

Here's one. I took several but they were all blurry.
Chrystal said she has some, but has to find them.
    So, more to come.
Karen, I'm not sure about the shedding. Good question and I'll find out.
Honey's really a sweety. I got to play with her last night. Tonight i'm gonna ask Chrystal if it's okay if I take her for a run.

    Bump

Still looking. I placed an ad in petfinder. I haven't seen Chrystal or Honey in awhile. I'll go see her tonight and ask about the shedding. I know Chrystal loves Honey and doesn't really want to get rid of Honey, but knows she should soon. She's moving house in a couple of months to another city, So we'll be getting more serious about finding Honey's forever home soon.

    Dear dog owner,
I am looking for a dog for my weimeraner to play with and my wife. We had a Jack Russel mix that was a Rescue dog but he got bit by a snake and passed away. This dog will be an inside dog most of the time. I have ten acres in Baytown with a pond. My weimeraner is about 1 yr old. He still has a lot of puppy energy in him and needs a playmate to run in the yard with. I am in Chile right now but will be home on the 18th. If you still have her when I get home I am very interested. When I get a dog it is for life. I have never given a dog away or mistreated any of them.
My first weimeraner lived to be 15 yrs old. The second passed away 2 yrs ago with cancer. My wife picked me up at the airport with Buck (my latest puppy) in the truck for Christmas. I have been around Schnauzers when I was younger and they are wonderful dogs. I have three Fainting goats, one weimeraner, two cats. I use Dr. Abshire in Baytown and have been using him for a number of years. Checkups, and shots on all animals are up to date.

Can you send me some pictures?

This was is the best reply I've gotten at Petfinder. And I got quite a few. What do you think?
I want this man to meet Honey. I'm calling the vet tomorrow to confirm his treating this man's animals.
If the adoption goes through, it will be so great b/c Chrystal is moving to LaPorte which is only a few miles from Baytown, where the interested party lives; Maybe she can visit Honey sometimes!!
Also I've got a lot of very strange replies from Petfinder. Some even sounding like form letters. Anyone Petfinder savvy who has any tips for me, they are certainly welcomed to give them!
    thanks,
    Zoey
    PS I did send pictures.

I would check references, set up a meeting so Honey can meet his other dog, call his vet and make sure you also talk with the wife to make sure this works for her too. He sure does sound wonderful and his place sounds like a dogs dream. Is there anyway you can see his home too? One of the resues that I volunteer at do home visits to make sure people are telling the truth and it shows that a person is going to be commited to the dog if they are willing to jump through a few hoops to get them! I hope it works out, Honey is a cutie!

Hi sanford8916 and thank you for your response.
I haven't heard back from this guy. I'm hoping I hear back from him this weekend, so I can take Honey up to Baytown to meet him, his wife, and his puppy. I'd like to see their property too. It sounds almost too good to be true. I only asked $40.00 for the adoption, but since read that you should ask more b/c people take it that you don't think the dog is worthy, if you don't. Any thoughts? Thanks again.

If she was in Sydney it would be a done deal. Carole took one look and I could tell we would have had another. Hope she finds a really good home.
