    Jonah and the Ocean!

Well, we are back from our week at the New Jersey shore, and it was a great time! Jonah was pretty good on the flight there and back, settled in at the cottage within minutes(with a fair amount of potty training to boot!), enjoyed sleeping in the big bed with me (though MY enjoyment was diminished with each and every tiny foot in the side), and had only a momentary 'fear' of the biggest sandbox he had ever seen. From the moment he overcame his fear, he was kind of scary to watch. It took both my sister and I adopting a hawk like sight on him, lest he run right into the ocean.

We did a lot of walking, sitting at the beach (properly lubed up with sunblock), and eating. I can't wait to take him there again next year! I learned that I need to buy a decent **real** camera. Mine was too slow to catch alot of perfect moments.

    Enjoy the pics.

On the flight to the beach.

His first foray into the Atlantic! We had just arrived, and weren't planning on going into the water yet. Well, **I** wasn't planning on it anyhow.

What is wrong with this picture? LOL. He **loved** pulling the wagon, even with my sister in it!

In his new swim trunks, ready for a day at the beach. We rented the jogger and wagon, thank goodness! We couldn't get all necessary items to the beach without that wagon.

I don't know why he is grimacing....the whole day was about Jonah!

We went back and forth about renting one of these surreys. What if Jonah wouldn't sit still? What if Jonah got scared? What if Jonah hated his helmet? The question we SHOULD have asked was...what if Johanna and Judy couldn't peddle more than ten minutes without crying? LOL. It was fun, but, it was hard work (and, I think my sister cheated and let me do most of the work ).

Jonah enjoying his sand toys sans sand!

    Strolling on the beach.

    Thats all! Thanks for looking.

And I need to apologize profusely about not coming to meet you. Let's just say the spirit was willing, but the flesh......WEAK. You and I SHALL meet yet, my friend.

Wow, Jonah is growing up so fast! Looks like a wonderful time - in spite of the hard work you two had keeping up.

    Precious pictures! Thanks for sharing.

Those were wonderful pictures of your vacation. I loved them and really enjoyed them. Jonah is just a little doll and looks like he was having the time of his life.
