Hey everybody! Me and baby Alden checking in.....

Well he is FINALLY here.

I am soooo in love!! I think he is so beautiful and PERFECT...

I went into the hospital Wednesday afternoon and they started the induction at 5:15

Everything else is pretty much a blur. I remember the pain gettting pretty bad and they gave me a pain releiver through my iv (i was going to try to not have an epidural).. Before long the pain was UNBEARABLE... and they gave me the epidural.... I slept for, my mom said, about 2 hours....

I finally woke up..... I think it was around 06:00 thursday afternoon... and started feeling the pressure to push..

after 2 HOURS of pushing.. Alden hadn't budged... they turned off my epidural and cranked up the patosin ... trying to help me feel to push him out.. ......... I think I pushed three or four more times and he still wouldn't move.. so I decided (IN A LOT OF PAIN) for the c-section. I cried.. i really really wanted to have him naturally but something was telling me it just wasn't going to happen..

We went to the OR room and at 09:33 pm my baby boy was born... in all his 9 pound 9 ounce 22 inch glory!!!!

When I was on the operating table the doctors were saying that there would have been no way to have him natural .... that we was "wedged" in and stuck.. my mom said (she was in the OR with me) that the doctor was having to jerk on him to get him unstuck..

BUT... we are home now and we are having a "good" day today.. I don't have a lot of pictures... but will post the ones I've taken. My mom has pictures from the hospital and is going to get them to me on a cd...

Alden is such the sweetheart. He has been a little cranky the past few days. My mom and Grandma have been over to help me get settled in...

We are doing A LOT better today... he isn't crying as much and actually seems happy.. I have had the baby blues and crying as much as him.. I am so glad I am feeling better today. I've been wanting to check in with you guys...

Tinky and Jupiter have been hiding most of the time i've been home. Tinky has done a lot of hissing at Jupiter but they are coming around.

Jupiter is soooooooooo curious though... i figured he would be...

Sara- he is gorgeous! I didn't say it in the other thread but Congratulations!

It sounds like having a c-section was the best choice you could have made in that situation so don't feel bad that you couldn't have the natural birth you wanted. You and Alden are both healthy and doing well and you can't ask for more than that.

Oh my gosh, he is SO handsome!!! Sara, keep your eye out on that one - he is going to be a heartbreaker!! Oh man, I am in LOVE... and I have one that's only a little bigger than Alden! You're makin' me want another!!

Congrats on such a beautiful boy.

And yeah, the baby blues suck but they don't last too long. I think I was done being weepy after 2-3 weeks. If it lasts longer than that, give your OB a call.

Sara he is BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Alden please forgive me for using a word usually meant for females but you are just absolutely precious! Sara I can't believe what an ordeal you went through. Imagine if we hadn't been praying for an easy delivery! LOL! Your pre-delivery pictures are amazing. It looks like you had two or three in there! LOL! You get some rest and post again when you feel up to it.
