my little brother and i took a trip to the humane society today. i decided to try out my new camera. it is sooo hard to leave that place!

i almost burst into tears when i saw this puppy. he has some sort of mange and they don't think he's gonna make it. he's only 4 weeks old.

OMG. The Schnoodle & the Border Terrier just break my heart. I think Fenway is part Border Terrier. I wish I could adopt them in a heartbeat. I hope somebody will give them all loving homes.

Aww... Poor pups!!

I really need to head out to our HS and play with all the dogs and walk them. And of course take pictures!! I love our humane society, and the people that run it, they are so sweet. The HS is at someones farm. The kennels are SO nice, they are glass and some other material, it looks more hommy then the brick walls and chain fencing. They also have a big outdoor thing fenced in and they find out which dogs get along the best, and let them out together to play, they also have runs along side the big one, for the dogs that don't get along with other ones. I just love it there. It is a no kill one, I hope I can have a HS someday....*sigh*

Question, why don't the animals have blankets & toys?

At the shelter I delt with, all dogs had a big blanket, kitties had a small blanket & they all had atleast 1 toy each. I saw no blankets & no toys

just the small puppies had blankets and toys. i'll have to take some in next time i go. i've got a plenty. i don't think very many people donate there since it's actually animal control, but they keep the animals longer than most animal controls.

Back home animal control & the shelter was the same place. It was just easier that way
